A Hermit's Life for Me

Aster Spinel was never ashamed of what he was. A magic nut, a practitioner of its art. He was a researcher with a goal of finding the very secrets of his chosen field. His only ambition?  To create a new branch of the ways of the arcane. Yet somehow, someway this Hermit, who only wanted to hide and discover magic found himself caught in a situation completely out of his league. Entering the magical capital of the world - in a world that discriminates against his kind - would have felled any lesser Hermit. Luckily, Aster liked to think he was anything but.
