Borrowed Time

When his laboratory is attacked, Rory, a young researcher, manages to escape with the help of a curious new device reverse-engineered from alien technology. Four hundred years later, he finds himself neither in Utopia nor in a desolate wasteland, but an entire medieval-esque society. With knowledge and technology at his side, he attempts to reconstruct human civilization—but he's running on borrowed time.
