Burn the World

David lived a normal, predictable, boring corporate life right up until he made the mistake that nearly destroyed it. On the worst day of his life, the System awoke, tearing David and everyone around him from their normal, predictable, boring corporate routine and threw them into a world full of violence and strife. The Ruthless Scribe oversees it all, every stroke of their pen changing fates - or creating them. Awakening with the mysterious title of Grand Fated in an immense forest has ignited an old flame lying dormant in David's heart; a way to burn away the past and escape the repetition and routine of a world gone gray and empty. A chance to seize his own fate with both hands. A chance to take revenge against those who nearly destroyed him once before. He'll burn down the whole damn world if that's what it takes. Burn the World is a High Fantasy Literary RPG which draws upon themes of Progression, Cultivation, and Dungeon-Core, following a morally-conflicted protagonist in his battle against his fears, his fate, and his fellow humans. What are you willing to sacrifice to get your revenge? What would you do if the world was falling apart, and only strength of will could hold it together? Let's find out. ----------- Meet The Author ----------- Ruthless Scribe is an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction, while also enjoying the perks of freelance writing inspired by his many D&D adventures. Keep an eye out for updates! ** Updates on Monday-Friday by midnight CST-US. ***** My Patreon has up to 20 advance chapters updated Monday-Friday @ 10am CST-US.
