Dark Ascension: The Blackguards Rise [Progression, Harem, Anti-Hero]

[Book has been removed. Will be published in spring 2025!] Once a city watchman bound by law, Caelum Steelwind's transformation into a feared blackguard marks his descent into darkness. In the realm of Aetheria, where justice and tyranny intertwine, he builds his power through manipulation, violence, and forbidden magic. At his side, a harem of deadly women—from bloodthirsty barbarians to cunning assassins—are drawn to his growing darkness and iron will. But as Caelum delves into ancient evils and cosmic horrors, his rigid pursuit of order threatens to unleash forces beyond control. This grimdark fantasy follows an anti-hero's fall from grace, exploring how the pursuit of power and twisted justice can transform a man into the very darkness he once fought against. What to expect: - anti-hero MMC - evil campaign - redemption/revenge story - isekai (reincarnation) - mysteries - harem (slow burn) - progression - epic fantasy (D&D inspired) - grimdark setting   Updates: weekly Average chapter length: 2-4k words (Some chapters may be shorter, others may be longer, depends on how the story flows. I do not add fluff for the sake of meeting a quota.) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
