Dark Type Ascension (Medieval Pokémon)

Before the legends were myths, they were gods. And the world burned in their name. Zarius was raised in a cult devoted to Legendary Pokémon. Chosen as a willing sacrifice, he gave his life with faith in the divine. He knew that through his death, he would help their gods. He woke up on that stone altar, surrounded by the bodies of other cultists, all petrified. Nearby, a black and blood red blade with an eye on the cross guard. An eye that looked at him. That spoke to him.
