Deadman's Path: Space Outlaw Redemption LitRPG

His sins drown—and it will chase him. Chased off his homeworld, Jonathan Jones escaped with a stolen Reaper-Class Corvette to start a life in space.  Ever since the Link-Gates that connected the Sector to the rest of the Federation of Orion shut down, chaos has been the norm. There is no corner of the Sagittarius Arm untouched by economic and political strife, smuggling, piracy, illicit trading, and warfare. An unfortunate death is but the norm. But Jonathan Jones is getting tired of dirty business to survive. Paranoid of authorities hot in his tracks, while seeking a proper meaning in life, his path intersects with a powerful ship AI Core undertaking an impossible noble mission to salvage what's left of the Sector. A mission perhaps too noble for an outlaw.  And thus, Will he change his path? And will he find redemption from his sins? +++ What to expect? - A morally gray MC's journey in the cosmos to redeem himself from his past sins. - Epic Space Battles! - A Sector full of geopolitical intrigue. - A powerful and righteous AI partner. - Realistic Weak-Strong Progression (MC ain't becoming an OP god, and he’s incredibly flawed). - Light LitRPG mechanics (canonically, the Sector experienced a System Apocalypse [REDACTED—ACCESS DENIED BY INFOSEC—REMAIN CALM, CITIZEN]). - A mysterious System [REDACTED]. - Magic users who use the [REDACTED]. - A rogue AI-horde ready to end humanity. - [REDACTED—ACCESS DENIED BY INFOSEC—REMAIN CALM, CITIZEN].
