Era of Luminosity [A Cultivation and LitRPG Novel]

[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The world was dying. Nuclear bombs and tactical warfare have riddled the world with human misery and degradation. Resources scarce, people scavage the lands like beasts in search of comfort and survival while the wealthy prey on their weakness, growing even more dominant. Peace is all but a forgotten practice. The world needed a hero, and Lucian Villian was chosen if unwillingly, as its savior. His enemies, on the other hand, have grown far too powerful for him to manage, backing him into a corner. In the final decisive battle, Lucian was killed by his enemies once and for all. Fortunately, he had a failsafe. Transported into the Multiverse, Lucian gains a second chance at life. Relegated to a mere soul, Lucian is left with nothing but himself in the underworld as he waits for reincarnation. Yet, there is one advantage; He is the only conscious soul in a world of unconscious souls! With skills, Abilities, Cultivation, and a System to boot, he must learn the paths of power.  Watch Lucian fight against the odds and find meaning in this new universe as he marks his path with Legend, guiding humanity toward supremacy. So long The Surpasser lives, The Era of Luminosity Shall Reign! Hi, I'm Rezonance. I've always loved reading books from the greats like ISSTH, Martial World, and much (Very much) more to a lot of stuff in RR like The New World, Randidly Ghosthound, Change New World, and Azarinth Healer, and I've been inspired to do the same. I don't have any experience as a writer, so any critiques with tangible forms of ways to improve would be highly appreciated :D The story has a heavy emphasis on both Cultivation and Levels. Think of it like Cultivation but with quantitative numbers for power levels and the mysterious Heavens raining down on everyone's parade. Expect consistent updates 2x a day for two weeks and 1-2x chapters Seven days a week from there on.
