Final War: Hetairoi [Progression, Hard Sci-Fi, Mecha Space Opera]

A fading House in need of a Knight. A mysterious Warrior searching for purpose. A thriving Star Nation poised on the brink of war. Across the vast reaches of human space war brews between rising powers, and the fragile balance that has kept the Hyperion Cluster from collapsing into chaos is beginning to unravel. Into this storm walks Arthur Magellan—a skilled Freelancer drawn to the seemingly idyllic Graecian Ascendancy by a force he cannot name. He does not know why he is here, only that something compels him forward; whispering of destiny and danger that sings within his blood. While navigating political intrigue, ancient rivalries, and military escalation; Arthur finds himself caught between powerful factions vying for dominance. The Graecian Ascendancy, a Star Nation built off the ancient and timeless aspirations of Greek Antiquity, stands on the precipice of total war with the ruthless Parthian Empire: precipitating a conflict that could throw billions into the jaws of death. But as battle lines are drawn, Arthur begins to uncover unsettling truths—not just about the conflict, but about himself; for deep within him lies something far more dangerous than any warship or battlefleet. With the fate of the Hyperion Cluster and potentially the entire Rim at stake, Arthur must decide who he truly is and what role he is meant to play in the war to come. As long-buried secrets resurface and whispers of the past threaten to consume him, one question remains: will he be the salvation of the Ascendancy, or its doom? Only one thing is certain: the path to the truth will be paved by blood and steel.
