He had only wanted to break free from his nine-to-five routine and start his own business. Instead, he got his superhero origin story. While the world wrestled to adapt to its new normal, Lance struggled to get used to his enhanced strength, enhanced speed, enhanced senses, and a whole lot of problems he wanted nothing to do with. Now, he must navigate a world where power is measured in stats, and the line between hero and villain blurs with each skill gained.   Hello, thank you for checking out my story. You can expect a strong protagonist dealing with sudden superhuman abilities after a global pandemic. The story mixes everyday life situations with sci-fi elements. It follows Lance as he learns to use his new powers and adapts to a changed world. The story explores how these changes affect him and society.   I wrote this story because I wanted to explore the creation of a superhero world. I was interested in showing how society would react and adapt to sudden widespread superpowers. The story follows not just individual heroes, but how the whole world changes when the impossible becomes possible.   Updates: Usually on Sundays and Wednesdays (EST) Content warning: This story contains violence, gore, dark themes, and potentially traumatizing scenes. It is a long, long, slow-burning story that will develop over many chapters. Each chapter may range from 1,700 to 3500 words. Readers should be prepared for a lengthy, detailed narrative that unfolds gradually over time.
