Heart of the Northwind

“Stole a staff? Me? Pfft. No. This is… uh, family heirloom. Passed down. Very magical. Very legal.” Meet Vaelira. Ice mage. Adventurer. Definitely didn’t steal her master’s staff. (Okay, maybe she did. But she had reasons.) She left home to prove herself—and maybe freeze a few things on purpose. So far? She’s frozen her boots to the ground, scared off a rabbit with an ice spike, and gotten kicked out of at least one village. But every misfire is a lesson. Every awkward success is a win. And with a sarcastic ranger at her side and a dream too big to abandon, Vaelira is determined to become the great mage she swears she is. One spell at a time. Preferably without freezing anyone else.  The Heart of the Northwind series blends fantasy comedy with old-school adventure — messy spells, stubborn heroes, and just enough sword & sorcery to keep things exciting.
