Hunted Hunter (LitRPG)

Like dogs chasing cars, hunters are sent on near-impossible missions to secure ever higher profit margins. However, chasing cars can get dogs killed. The advent of the apocalypse brought ruin to Earth. Entire countries were immersed in violence and carnage on a scale never before seen nor imagined, but humanity endured with system-granted boons and weapons of necessary destruction. Eventually, the rifts which spewed their vile planets' spawn onto Earth were closed, and massive corporate conglomerates found a new avenue for profit by creating rifts of their own. Thomel used to merely survive on the fringes of society, but now a forceful contract from the Lonel corporation has thrust him into the world of inter-dimensional hunting. Will he turn a profit? Or become just another failed statistic?
