Imbued (Dropped)

If you could have a superpower, what would you choose? A voice asks that question in the minds of many. Ethan Winters is one of those who was asked the question. He answered: "To be a beacon of light to others, help those in need, and punish those who do evil.” Granted powers inspired by holy warriors from the video games he plays with his fiancée, he has to navigate this new world of superpowered individuals. People who, like him, were asked the same question. People who were Imbued. + This story details the origin of superheroes in the modern era and the subsequent events of that emergence. + As it is set in the modern era, expect social, political, religious, and other "real world issues" to pop up, along with commentary presented in a respectful but critical way.
