Lonely Souls

On their first FTL Flight, the crew of the Sol United Enterprise immediately discovers proof of alien life. Humanity, pondering the question of the Fermi Paradox is given an answer it never expected when two entirely different paths finally cross.  In a Galaxy where no race achieves space flight without the aid of psionics, just how do Humans factor in? And why are the aliens so scared of them? It's the Humans who are prisoners! Note: Multi-pov, slow burn sci-fi. I have to make new rules for unexplored ideas. That takes time. Aspects of hfy as well, although this story not about the ways in which humans are strong, it's about the ways they are different. That being said, while this story is more complex than the usual fare, I'm very proud of it. I hope you enjoy.
