MAGE: The Way of the Mark [COMPLETE - Fantasy, Post-Apocalyptic, Dieselpunk]

An aging spellcaster, the last of his order, searches a desert wasteland governed by a magic system in which the fewer people who know a spell, the more powerful the spell is. The Mage’s order has been wiped out by The Motorized, steam-powered, magical weapon users—a competing magic system—and now Mage must find a way to pass on his wealth of knowledge and defeat The Motorized. Mage begins when the last spellcaster enters Vale, the capital city of the Motorized, for the very first time. Imagine if Gandalf from The Hobbit stepped into the world of Mad Max. What you can expect: —This is a world of competing magic systems, featuring dueling sorcerers and persecuted spell casters. —Fantasy with elements of Dieselpunk. —This book is my way of writing a classic fantasy story mixed with Mad-Max style engines and weapons. —Prison Breaks, Rebellion, and later, large-scale magical battles. —First person, single character (aging, male, magician) perspective. —No harem, VR, or time travel
