No More Heroes [Superhero LitRPG]

In a dark future built in the aftermath of an alien invasion, Superheroes walk among us. These powerful beings all follow the New Global Government. The NGG controls everything, the laws, the media, and even the Gamma, the source of the Supers' strength. But are they truly trying to build a better world? Vincent Villari may be called a Villain by some, but in a world where you can't trust your Heroes, maybe a Villain is what you need. Did the Great Hero truly defeat the invaders? Did the Psychics really try to conquer the world? Asking questions is dangerous, and so is being born with the wrong powers. Follow Vincent and his crew of powered rebels as they search for answers, trying to free themselves, and the world, from tyranny...and maybe something worse. And now, a message from the New Global Government: ATTENTION! The world is safe! You are safe! Do not listen to the lies of the Super Terrorist, Vincent Villari! The Great Hero defeated the invasion nearly a century ago! Humanity has prevailed! Do not listen to the propaganda of Lucia Villari! She is a known Psychic sympathizer! The Villari’s own mother was a recognized criminal, responsible for untold destruction! Everything is fine! The Heroes are your friends! The Villains are real! And the Villaris are your enemies! Take your government issued Gamma doses! Listen to the Wardens! Fight for what’s right! All praise the Great Hero! Paid for by the New Global Government. You can trust us. What can readers expect? A complex super villain/anti-hero origin story—Vincent isn't a sadistic psychopath, or a power hungry lunatic, he's someone with drive, intellect, and near-impossible challenges, stuck in a world that teaches harsh lessons. LitRPG elements (these come on slowly at first), super powers, and action. A heist! A rich dystopian world suffering the domino effect of an alien invasion. Unique, original characters with their own goals and motivations, unveiled as the story progresses.
