Nucleus 1: The Dust of Moon [Mature Sci-fi Romance]

Four souls. Seven factions. One alien menace. 200 years after World War Three ended the United States and Communist China, humanity has colonized the eight planets - but at what cost? When psionic agent Lorna arrives in Taiwan hunting data for the new North American government, she collides with Xin, a heartbroken programmer whose android lover was stolen by the regime that his college classmate Dilinur serves. Meanwhile in Africa, high school dropout Jabari finds himself piloting a mech among the continent's finest warriors. Their paths converge in a race for the Moondust Crystal, buried deep within the Moon. But when Skarn - leader of the voracious Radi-Mons that feed on nuclear waste and human flesh - breaks free from imprisonment, they'll find the Crystal to be more than a prize. It's the key to humanity's survival - and possibly its damnation. Will they master the Crystal's power, or will it master them? The Dust of Moon begins Nucleus, my decade-long passion project - a planned 4-book space opera series that could expand to 6 books with strong readership.
