The main character, Lilith, is a woman born to destruction, death, and violence. This is not a story of redemption, and Lilith is by no means any sort of hero. Rather, this fiction is about finding one's humanity even when long thought beaten from you.  Unfortunately, sometimes being human is worse than being a monster.
