Scions of The Essenari - A LitRPG story

In a single moment, Kael and billions of others are ripped from reality, suspended in a vast void as they witness the unthinkable. Their homeworld transformed as if in the hands of a sculptor, with alien landscapes appearing from the abyss. Continent-sized fragments of foreign realms fuse with the planet, forever changing and growing its size. Suddenly, a voice breaks the silence. This unknown entity declares a profound change, rewriting the very fabric of existence. Levels, titles, classes, and power are now within reach, but so is the threat of death. As monsters rise and new dangers emerge, only those who adapt and fight will survive and secure their place in this harsh new reality. For Kael, survival has always been second nature. A former soldier, he has lived in the wilderness by choice, far from the chaos of the modern world. But when Earth transforms, and he finds himself in a new place with strange creatures far more dangerous than he was used to, he is thrust into a fight for his life. Armed initially with only a knife and instincts forged through years of hardship, Kael faces a world where strength isn't just a goal but a necessity. As he is forced to rely only on himself and what he can achieve, Kael seeks to wield Essence, the raw energy of creation. With it, he shapes the tools of his survival and ultimate ascension. But mastery comes at a cost. If he doesn't adapt or grow, he will become nothing more than another forgotten soul in this merciless new world. Kael refuses to be prey to those who think of themselves as predators. Survive. Grow. Thrive. These are the tenets of life, which are clearer now than ever, and Kael plans to live by them entirely. This is the first story I am trying my hand at, and I am so happy I can share this with you; I am not a world-class writer. If you comment and tell me anything I can improve, I will happily read and review your suggestions. Thanks for your time and for giving this story a shot. 😊 What to expect:  -  weak to strong power progression. -  Essence and mana-based system, where one is the raw form and the other a filtered version. -  MC has to work hard to master his power. -  Interesting side characters. -  Slow paced
