Shut Up and Heal Me (ON HIATUS)

Rick's a loser: failed Ph.D candidate, washed-out astronaut trainee, banned pro-gamer, and his ex-girlfriend couldn't even stand to be on the same planet as him any more. Too bad he's the best shot Earth's got. An alien probe is on its way to integrate Earth into a galactic System with levels, stats, and challenges. It's already inducted the Mars expedition, and nothing's going to stop it from reaching Earth. Instead, military and corporate powers collude to send some of the best warriors and gamers available to meet this new challenge. Thanks to his gaming experience and the fact that his ex is one of the missing astronauts, Rick and his rag tag team are blasted offworld on a one way trip on a dying world full of ancient mysteries, overgeared galactic gamers here to pick up a few achievements, and desperate locals looking escape their fate. Now the former top DPSer is respecing heals. He's got a modern-day Genghis Khan and an EOD tech who's missing a clue. But his team's short a tank. And who's that masked woman in Looking for Group, anyway? Releases Monday/Wednesday/Friday What to expect: (Mostly) single third-person POV LitRPG - has numbers, classes, and abilities that influence! Not VR - the world matters. No harem. From an established pair of writers who conclude stories, not drop them - no long hiatuses, chapters posted on schedule.
