Steam Whistle Alley: An Adventure in Augmented Reality

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for their support in this journey. The first book, of which a sample is included here, is available on Kindle in ebook and paperback form on Amazon and is now enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. Much editing and gnashing of teeth has taken place since the first drafts were uploaded here, so I hope you enjoy. I will continue uploading Book 2 as chapters are completed.  Amazon Links: USA - UK - Germany - France - Spain - Netherlands - ?? - Canada - Australia   Most people saw just another lunatic on the street that day, wearing strange goggles and swinging an invisible sword. But Jacob recognized a gamer.  After an unexpected job offer from the AR game’s creator, Jacob dons the steampunk goggles and watches as Seattle is transformed. Gone are the skyscrapers, replaced with towering Victorian monuments. Clockwork werewolves and steam-powered rabbits haunt the shadows, waiting to strike.  But what started as a game quickly turns lethal. Jacob gets caught up in a turf war over the most valuable sector of the transformed city. Will he capture Steam Whistle Alley, or will he meet a death from which he can’t respawn?  Maybe the onlookers were right.  Gamer. Lunatic. Same difference.
