Among the best of an elite few, Lanis Osgell was a Navigator, a psychic bridge that allowed Terra Fleet's massive star ships to jump between systems.  Then, suddenly, she was nothing. Newly broken in a world she was never prepared to re-enter, Lanis must imagine a new future among the planet-side mega corporations and their fierce rivalries. A Navigator, however - even a broken one - is impossible to ignore. Warning: Outside of the first chapter, this is a fairly slow burn. The first few chapters mainly deal with Lanis' relationship with another woman, so fair warning! (But we do get to Armored Suit battles and the horrors of the Warp eventually!)
