The Divided Guardian: A Cursed Anti-Hero Progression Fantasy

Novaria’s criminals call him the Angel of Death. Few live to learn why. Angelo Ashworth walks the razor's edge between justice and bloodshed as the city's most feared enforcer. But his legendary reputation isn't built on power or skill—it's built on an impossible secret: Angelo is never truly alone. He shares every moment with his other selves: Red—chaos incarnate, craving violence and recognition. Blue—cold logic and detachment given form. And Angelo? He is trapped between them, sinking deeper into darkness with every kill. Three minds. Two extra bodies. One fractured soul. A curse with an unknown origin that forces each piece to operate at a fraction of their power. Not to mention a source for endless bickering. When a buried case forces Angelo to confront his past, one truth rises from the shadows: This fractured existence was never natural. Someone did this to him— and they’ll stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried. Now, haunted from within and hunted from without, Angelo and his other selves must conquer their inner demons if they ever hope to survive. Because the real question isn’t who divided the Guardian... …it’s whether the pieces were ever meant to fit together in the first place. What to Expect: + The Divided Guardian is expected to be very, Very Long + Anime-inspired (cinematic fight scenes, concept art) + Weak to Strong MC + Character-driven + Moral complexity + Rich worldbuilding + Fun cast and found family + Comic relief (The world may be dark, but you can always count on Red to pick you up.) The volumes covers have lore to them as well. They are tarot cards. The idea is that each card showcases something central to the volume. You know how we can look back at certain events in our lives, and in hindsight connect the dots of how one thing led to another in this grand chain of events. Almost feels like destiny, huh? That's what I'm going for with these cards. So when the story is concluded we will end up with a complete deck of tarot cards, that tells the entire story :) Chapters published on Sundays and Wednesdays  Check on updates Here Or join TDG's discord server if you have any question, suggestion or just want to say hi.
