The Hunter Games: A Monster Hunting LitRPG

Being a licensed monster hunter is all Nero ever dreams about. Fame, glory, and prestige are all noteworthy perks, but the biggest perk is the fortune that comes with contracts to kill, and moreover, the Hunter Games. A game show where ranked hunters fight in an arena to entertain their sponsors for hard cash is the fastest way to get rich. For Nero, money means getting his sick mother better again, a challenge that his poor family has been struggling with for years. However, there is only one thing standing between Nero and his destiny—he has no meta-skill. Only the supernaturally gifted few stand a chance to enlist in Hunter Corp, and Nero isn’t one of them. Until one day he wakes up with a superpower after surviving a monster attack, and then, he gets another… and another… and, another? The norm is one meta-ability per gifted customer—Nero’s multi-meta phenomena is a rare case that is turning the heads of not only his squad mates, but the entire hunter corporation. And the reason is a dark secret that only one girl could reveal. -realm portaling happens later in the series- What to expect: Slice of Life, Weak to Strong, Transmigration, Character Focus, Monster Slaying, Rank & Leveling System, Slow burn, Portal Jumping, and Televised Shenanigans   -This light novel series was inspired by Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, FMA, Demon Slayer, and Supernatural- Updates: M-W-F Jump 50 chapters ahead on DRJ Patreon Copyright © 2024 Damien R James
