The Inheritance of a Bygone Era

Life had dealt Mila a miserable hand. With her health failing and dreams plagued by experiences from a different world, she was left detached from her surroundings. Despite that, she was determined to live through it peacefully. So, when confronted with a spell meant to summon people to another world, she was less than happy. And worryingly, she was not the target. Not exactly. Arc (Book) - 1  (Chapters 1-65) Mila’s mind was in a strange place. With so many tragic experiences shaping her in her dreams, it was hard to find common ground with her peers. Even here, where most of her dreams had originated from, Mila was an outlier in many aspects. Killing was necessary. Sacrifices could be justified. The world demanded cruelty. However, now, Mila found herself to be a target of romantic feelings. And turning the girl down should have been easy… …But Mila failed. And now, with a crack in her hardened heart, Mila has to find a road forward, not just for herself but also for those she holds dear. If only they weren’t hunted by most of the world. It wasn’t their fault the ‘Horror’ was released. They just happened to be there.
