The Last Legion (A Stray Cat Strut fan-fic)

A fanfic for the Stray Cat Strut universe. A former soldier looking for a quiet life becomes a "Samurai," a Vanguard of Humanity to defend against the Antithesis invasions. Unwillingly thrust back into combat he must work with the new voice in his head, an AI who guides and enables him, to hold the line against the dark. And when the barbarian Antithesis hordes are at the gates, who better to call on than the ancient Vanguards of Civilization? In 120 C.E. the Ninth Legion vanished from the written records of the Roman Empire, all knowledge of their fate lost to time. The Lost Legion has been the basis of many stories. This is not the story of the Lost Legion. This is the story of the Last Legion, the Legio IX remade, and the story of the man and AI who built the force that will answer any call to hold the line against the horde. Sta contra multitudinem! Vis et Honor!
