The Mechanical Mage - A run 'em over LitRPG (Book 1 Complete!)

While delivering a parcel, Ben and his van are isekaied and integrated. Suddenly, Ben is surrounded by a horde of giant scorpions who are hell-bent on his demise. Not knowing where he is and having no combat experience, he is forced to use his driving experience to run them over. That's when his system unlocks a Mechanical Mage Class. What this story contains: Third-Person POV: This is my first full-length novel in this POV. I might make mistakes. Please let me know where I go wrong so we can fix things. I'm open to any feedback to make improvements. Slow start but picks up: This story's pacing will be slow as the MC learns about the new world and grows in power. He will make mistakes but learn from them and improve his decision-making. Then, things will start to pick up. Book one will be 150k words or more. The MC will run things over with a van! Although this can be limiting, the MC will have skills and abilities that make it fun. However, there will also be situations when the MC is forced to rely on his combat abilities instead of the van. Medieval Fantasy Setting with some Science-Fiction: The MC will join forces with an Order of Knights who trace their existence back to the Crusades to combat an unknown threat! Later on, Dungeons, Crafting, and Kingdom Building! What this story doesn’t contain: -Romance, harem, or adult scenes. -Murderhobo plots (Does running things over with a van count?) Schedule: 2 Chapters a Week (Monday and Thursday at 9PM GMT). I want to focus on quality. Chapter Length: Average 2000 Words. Please note that I may take some time off to maintain the quality of the story and to rest my eyes (I have bad astigmatism, it sucks), but I will let you all know in advance before I do this. This story will be posted on Royal Road, Scribblehub, and my Patreon. There are no plans to publish it on Amazon right now, so if you find it there or anywhere else that is not listed, let me know. I will always update you if there are any new developments with releases elsewhere. Note: This story has a similar name to another web novel that was discontinued around four years ago. It has nothing to do with that. (I found this out after coming up with the name.) Discord
