The Second Life of Adam Cosmos

SYNOPSIS: Having survived an apocalyptic future, Adam awakens in the past with the knowledge that Earth's survival hinges on a popular VR game called World of Pangea. While other players see the game as a source of fun and income, Adam knows it’s the key to unlocking real-world powers essential for battling the monsters that will soon overrun Earth. As he navigates the game, using his future knowledge as an advantage, he must race against professional players to uncover the secret of Awakening- the only method to transfer in-game abilities to the real world and ensure humanity's survival. *** TROPES IN PLAY Apocalypse: Eventually... but for now (and probably for most of the next 200 chapters), it is technically a VRMMO series. Class Systems: The class system is Skyrim-like. You can have as many classes as you like, but it comes at the cost of spreading your skill points/perks too thin. Dungeons/Gates/Portals: Within the game, that is. But also, eventually, in the real world. Occasionally switching of POV: Sometimes, certain chapters feature other characters to break Adam's continuous grind. OP MC Regression: And all the shenanigans that go with it Solo MC: Adam usually does stuff solo Status Window Virtual Reality
