The Soulchained Assassin [An Assassin LitRPG]

Thousands of confirmed kills. Seven decades of work as an assassin. Feared by all that know he exists. Bloody and relentless, Nathan has never failed to complete a mission in his lifetime. Except one. Locked in a lethal game of cat and mouse, his greatest rival in death, Cleo, has eluded his best attempts to kill her for years - and he, hers. But, when they finally have each other in their grasp, victory is stolen from them. Cosmically shackled together by their mutual hatred and time of death, Nathan finds himself stuck with Cleo in a strange new world. With a class stolen from the Ferryman meant to guide him from his past life to the next, Nathan can now do more than just kill his enemies. He can summon them right back. This realm has seen monsters, demons, and reality-bending magic, but it's never faced the might of the two greatest assassins in the history of earth. As long as they don't strangle each other first. Schedule: Five chapters per week (M,T,W,T,F)! What to Expect: • A healthy mixture of serious/dark and lighthearted moments • Strong to Stronger MC • An intelligent MC • Mr. and Mrs. Smith dynamic between the MC and his rival • Fighting to be a good person while contending with past demons • No Harem If you're one of the two people that remember a story that starts similarly to this one by the name of "Soulbound", that is a story I wrote with a friend of mine a few years back. This story has a very similar first chapter and premise, but other than that is completely different.
