The Stubborn Light of a Dying Flame

New chapters will be posted Tuesdays and Thursdays (12am EST) Welcome to the world of Ember, where life is like a video game! There are stat sheets and spells and, of course, hordes of blood-thirsty monsters intent on ripping your throat out... Okay, maybe the isekai life isn't all it's cracked up to be... When Rayna and her friend Emma, along with ten million other humans, are dragged off to the world of Ember, they find themselves at the mercy of the System. With no way to fight its control, all they can do is grow stronger and keep each other safe as they search for a way to get themselves back to earth.  But the System that runs Ember is far from perfect. It makes mistakes, half of its features are broken or missing and worst of all, it screwed up Rayna’s race during transfer. She is now a Lerian—whatever that is—and she quickly learns that her experience on Ember may be drastically different than the rest of the players from earth.  Can Rayna and Emma find their way home? Or will the System malfunctions get them killed before the monsters even have a chance? Find out in the Stubborn Light of a Dying Flame, a new LitRPG adventure!
