The Untitled Series - Heaven's Truth (A Low Fantasy Adventure)

In our darkest hours, we turn to faith,  but what will you do when faith turns against you?   In the Karloman Empire, The Faith reigns supreme and brooks no challenger. Yet, corruption does not challenge. It infects. Ekkehard Reubke was destined for the priesthood until the war saw him turn his back on that life. It was his family that paid the price. In his final desperate moments, a truth will be reveled to him. One that comes from the dark.  It could bring The Faith to its knees. His story is one of strife and survival, and the struggle to maintain one’s humanity in the face of insanity. He is the Master of Angels. Can he survive the world? Can the world survive him? A traditionally untraditional low fantasy tale, this long-format novel offers a slow burn narrative set in a dark, low fantasy world. Throughout part one, you will follow Ekkehard Reubke, a veteran and apostate, as he struggles to keep his surviving family members alive after their estate is burned to the ground. Together, they search for a new home or risk falling along the way. Major themes explored include: Survival and Trauma, Family Bonds, Grief and Loss. Revenge and Justice, Faith and Disillusionment, Resilience and Hope, Power and Corruption and finally, Man’s Capacity for Violence. Minor themes explored include: Strained Romance, Psychological Healing, Identity and Transformation, Trust and Betrayal.
