The Vampire's Apprentice

Alain Smith was desperate for any kind of work he could get. He never could have imagined a simple job from a mysterious duo would drag him into the deadly world of the supernatural.  When Alain Smith, one of the last remaining frontiersmen, arrives in San Francisco in search of work, he instead finds himself in service to a pale-skinned woman with red eyes and her enormous butler. With no other option, he accepts a job for them, and sets off to escort them to their destination.
