The Witch and the Chimera

Next chapter: Monday 9th June A century has passed since the Chimera Clan disappeared into the hidden depths of the Roaring Mountains after the last great war. In all that time, not a single soul in Terrarkana has seen one... until now. By a twist of fate, the Count of Shadowrock acquires a young chimera, intending to use it as a bargaining chip with the king. But when his daughter, Olivia, discovers the creature's plight, guilt and compassion drive her to make an unthinkable decision: free the chimera, whatever it takes, even if it means leaving behind the safety of her sheltered life. However, her plan soon spirals out of control. Caught between political intrigues, the tenacious search of her father and the mysterious intentions of the Lady of the Whispering Forest, Olivia must rely on an unexpected ally: Silas, a chimera who distrusts humans. United by shared danger and a fragile trust, they embark on a perilous journey to the Fellowship of the Island, where they are supposed to find refuge. However, as their path twists between dangers and discoveries, a bond begins to form between them, one that could change not only their fates, but the fragile peace of Terrarkana itself.
