Virtuous Cultivation

Author's Note: 31 Dec 2024 2025 is right around the corner huh? I'll be releasing the new fic tomorrow. That said, I'll return to working on VC for a while, so expect to see a bunch of chapters soon. I recommend checking the new fic once it's out tho! It is around 131,000 words long, about 60% as long as VC. It takes place in the same universe but about 5000 years ago, shortly after the new heavenly law changes, back before demonic cultivators went extinct. https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/102059/aoyang-alchemists-rebirth-xianxia https://discord.com/invite/kuhVNcK The path of cultivation is often portrayed as one stained by bloodshed. But is that truly necessary? Heaven is merciful, after all. On a rather ordinary day, a peasant girl was whisked away by a strange old man. In a hall of great white jade, she was offered the chance to cultivate. ...too bad she's as lazy as a sloth. Slice of life Xianxia with fairly little action in early chapters, more focused on comedy.
