Bestial Ascension: Hunting the Divine

For years Ash has lived as an orphan, a stray, a slave to his cruel fate. However, destiny is a fickle thing. When the world is rent asunder by a divine beast from the stars he finds himself cast adrift, tossed into the Fragmented Wilds, a nebula of broken and dead worlds. The people there encourage him to accept his crafting class and move on, find peace among a community of those like him who have lost everything. But Ash can't rest. Because he knows the calamity that destroyed his world wasn't a random accident. The divine beast had come for him. And it would come again. If Ash wants to survive he'll have to acquire enough power to challenge even the divine, an impossible task for a mere crafter. At least, it would be if not for the power hidden within his blood. What to expect: - A story heavily inspired by the Monster Hunter series. - Lots of fighting big monsters. - Lots of crafting weapons and armor out of monsters. - Memory delving in unique settings. 2025 April Writhathon Winner. Updates Mon-Tues-Fri.
