Curse of the Serpent: [A Eastern/Western Fantasy hybrid]

Mei Seito was born with blue eyes—a mark of ill omen in the Kuro Empire, where such traits bring fear and rejection. Despite her talent with Ki and the potential to forge a divine pact, the gods spurn her, unwilling to accept a cursed child. Her fate shifts, however, when she encounters another mysterious outcast, one who offers her a bond unlike any other. Drawn into a web of ancient rivalries and divine agendas, Mei soon realizes she’s entangled in a conflict far beyond her understanding. As the stakes rise, she must tread carefully, for the path ahead is fraught with dangers that could alter her destiny—and the fate of the empire—forever. What to Expect: -Action -Fantasy -Romance (slow burn) -Intrigue -Balanced abilities that take skill to utilize to their best -Cultivation very amorphous compared to most cultivation inspired novels. -Eastern/Western hybrid story. Trying to meld the things I like best in both styles. The first few chapters are set up so be patient and I promise it ramps up quickly once it kicks off. Version 2 of this story is going very well. It is better in just about everyway. Volume 1 is nearly finished with just editing and fixing up some issues.  Due to legal obligations I am re-editing volume 1 and changing core names of many characters.
