Tales of the Three Kingdoms [LitRPG, Military, Kingdom Building]

In a society where the Mandate of Heaven is everything, Sparrow was born without one. In a land where the stars determine one's powers and one's allies, Sparrow is powerless and alone. So when this minor, young cavalry officer begins to receive strange messages, as if from nowhere, seemingly baiting him to drastic action, he can't help but disobey a direct order from his father. Thus, Sparrow takes the fate of the entire Land Under Heaven into his own hands… and casts it into chaos. With a strangely dark woman by his side, along with his overpowered but innocent bodyguard, Sparrow must contend with other clans, other warlords, warriors and monsters, assassins and kings, fabled mounts and famous weapons, and focus on the right strategies to rise in the Imperial ranks if he is to earn that ultimate title that stands above them all: a Hero of the Times. What to Expect - A llitRPG with an ancient system, integrated into the setting, with mysterious motivations - Characters whose rise in power invariably comes with more and more moral compromises - A single romantic interest who may or may not turn out to be a villainess - Overpowered allies whose involvement always comes at a cost - A weak-to-strong protagonist who has to think his way around more powerful opponents - Progress through Imperial ranking, mysterious achievements, battle reports, and conquered territories - A magic system with secrets of its own, that determines not only what characters can do, but how they interact - Famous characters rooted in history and myth, with a dark fantasy spin Updates Thursdays and Saturdays. This new, original work is based on characters in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms classical text.
