The Faerie Knight [Volumes One & Two Stubbed]

Trist will be the strongest knight of the age... so long as he keeps sending souls to the Faerie King. Trist's older brother, Percy, was better than him at almost everything - except for swordplay.  Percy was their father's heir, and Trist was perfectly content with his future as a Knight of Narvonne, supporting his brother and protecting their family's land. In a single night, a beautiful faerie of the Court of Shadows shatters everything Trist took for granted. Now an Exarch, Trist must Tithe souls to  Auberon, the Faerie King.  Trading those souls grants Trist power, and he'll need it.  Three Hundred years ago, an ancient evil nearly destroyed humanity in a Cataclysm.  Now, that evil is rising again, and Trist will have to confront it if he wants to protect the people he loves. What to Expect: - MC starts off exceptionally skilled, but not otherwise more powerful than a normal human.  He will gradually gain power as the story progresses.   - Characters with messy, complicated relationships (No Harem) - There is action, but it is not constant action Update Schedule: Wednesday and Saturday at 7am EST.  Book one (57 Chapters) is complete; the entirety of book two is written and revised, and will be releasing on Amazon in December.  I have finished the trough draft of Book three.  That's a total of 177 chapters written, straight through to the end of the story, so absent some major disaster, you don't need to worry about this being dropped or going on hiatus.   This work is only published on Amazon, here, and on my Patreon.  If you see it anywhere else, it's been stolen. Covers by Sarah Murphy. Both art and writing are entirely human-created; there is no use of AI in this work. Volume One has been stubbed, and is now available on Amazon!  Volume Two has been stubbed, and releases on Amazon Friday the 6th!
