Three Koi and an Orchid

In a society where bloodlines and privilege shape destinies, Pia, a war orphan with no family, legacy, or status to support her, refuses to accept her low-class status. Fueled by her fierce resolve to rise above her position, Pia is determined to gain power as a martial artist. No matter what, Pia will learn new skills, seek new knowledge, and triumph over any obstacle through blood, sweat, and grit. With nothing but childhood friendships bolstering her spirit and a relentless Master driving her to new limits, Pia perseveres forward, pushing every muscle, strength, and fiber of her being. But, hidden beneath the surface, secret forces begin to pluck the threads of fate, threatening the position Pia fought so hard to achieve. As the threads unravel around her sect, Pia must confront newfound enemies and her own sense of honor and resolve. Follow Pia from mud to mastery, as she proves that destiny isn't given but seized—by those bold enough to hold a blade to destiny's throat and demand it obey. Author Note: This is a very slow burn, character driven narrative. It is intended to be a slice of life style progression/cultivation story. There is a lot of character and world development, not a lot of fighting/action in the first 100k words.  Updates are 5-6 days a week.  New Cover Art by Nefeli Katerinaki! -  Her Link Tree Here is her IG: Nefeli_katerinaki
