World Boss: Break the Narrative

What do you do when the System is the problem? Life is not fair. The Narrative is so much worse. Strange creatures called Narrators operate behind the scenes to alter events. They care only for the audience's approval and the audience wants blood. Monsters run amok. Violence spread everywhere. Huge swaths of humanity died spectacularly. That is the horrifying mess Doug finds himself in. As the sixth spawn of the titan or darkness, he is the second highest scale of existence...whatever that means. He is determined to make things better. The trouble is he was literally born yesterday. Confused naked and alone he finds himself in the frozen wastes. To make matters worse something is hunting him. Good thing he is overpowered. What to expect: This story is a work in progress This is my first full story, and my first time publishing online. Check the notes at the start of chapters for update information. Also, any and all feedback is appreciated Dark themes This story discusses and shows frank depictions of violence, abuse, and coercion. The system in this story is actively malicious and a large focus of the story explores maintaining humanity in situations beyond our control.  Gallows humor and the occasional dad joke. Snow Lions… like an unreasonable amount of them
